Located on the most northern point of Mallorca, at the end of the Serra de Tramuntana, you will find the Cap Formentor, which means “end of Formentor” – a 20 km peninsula, northeast of the Port of Pollensa.
All the way up the top you will find a lighthouse, and although not open to visitors, you can walk around its rocky surroundings. Make sure to bring a camera when driving up the peninsula, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and offers great photo opportunities.
It can be reached by car, bus or bicycle along a spectacular 13km long road, built by the Italian engineer Antonio Paretti, running from Port to Pollensa all the way up.
Formentor beach is surely one of the most beautiful spots on Mallorca and very popular. Situated in the north-west of Mallorca and approximately 7 km from Port de Pollensa. It’s the breathtaking backdrop of pine trees and the view to the Tramuntana mountains make it easy to understand the popularity. The beach with fine white sand is about a kilometre long and counts with crystal clear water. The trees overhang the beach and offer plenty of shade on hot summer days. Enjoy a relaxing swim in the beautiful waters while your chef is preparing a delicious lunch onboard your yacht.
